MANDARINE (early version)

My main topic of research is the generation of model transformations based on examples using RCA, a classification process based on concept lattice theory.

Model Alignment

One particularity of most of the existing MTBE techniques is the need of an alignment between models elements. Here is a tool we propose to provide alignments semi-automatically. Please keep in mind that this is a early version proposed as a demo.

How to install and use it ?

The tool proposed here is a plugin for the Eclipse platform. It requires the modeling tools version of Eclipse 3.5 Galileo. To install our tool download and copy the two following .jar files in the 'dropins' folder of your Eclipse installation.

Then, at the next start of Eclipse you should find in the menu 'File>New>Other…' a category named 'MTBE Wizards'. In this category choose 'Matching file'. By following the instruction you should see a new editor appearing. By using the buttons 'Load left model' and 'Load right model' you can, by filling in the path to the .ecore metamodels and the .xmi models, load the two models to align. Then by pushing the 'Compute alignment' button you can launch the automatic alignment process.

people involved in the development of this tool are : Xavier Dolques, Jean-Rémy Falleri, Aymen Dogui and François Pfister.
